With thermometers pushing past the 70's as of late, ice fishing is probably the last thing on your to do list. Two weekends ago, however, DJ was braving the ice as a camera operator on a potential reality show featuring three ice fishing expedition crews. The show will strive to be a blend of "Ice Road Truckers" and "Swamp People", showing the daily grind of the 18 hour days the crews work. Some of the highlights were wind gusts so hearty that ice shanties and men were being blown away, people fishing on an independently floating piece of ice, and a lot of fish were caught. DJ's personal highlight was rigging a Go Pro HD camera on a fishing line so they could get a shot from the fish's perspective as it's pulled out of the hole. Joining DJ on the crew was Bill Richards, handling sound, and Matt, an independent producer from Pennsylvania.
